ML Engineer (Agents)

About this role

As an ML Engineer (Agents) at Ragnarok AI, you’ll improve how agents reason, plan, and execute multi-step workflows. You’ll work closely with product and engineering to increase reliability, reduce failure rates, and make outputs more consistent. This role is ideal for someone who loves applied ML with measurable real-world impact.

Responsibilities

• Improve agent reasoning quality through prompt strategies and evaluation

• Design and test memory + retrieval approaches for better context

• Build evaluation pipelines to measure accuracy, consistency, and failure modes

• Tune tool-calling behavior to reduce errors and improve execution success

• Collaborate with engineering to ship improvements into production systems

Requirements

• Strong applied ML/LLM experience with real product usage

• Comfortable running experiments and measuring outcomes objectively

• Ability to translate model behavior into product improvements

Nice to Have

• Experience with agent frameworks (planning, tool use, multi-step execution)

• Familiarity with embeddings, RAG, and retrieval systems

• Experience designing evals and benchmarks for LLM reliability
