Backend Engineer

As a Backend Engineer at Ragnarok AI, you’ll build the core systems that power agent execution, memory, and integrations. Responsibilities

• Build backend architecture for workflows, execution, and agent memory.

• Develop integration services for third-party tools and internal APIs.

• Optimize database performance and query patterns for scale.

• Create internal tooling for debugging and workflow visibility.

• Ensure system reliability through testing, monitoring, and safeguards.

Requirements

• Strong experience with backend development (APIs, databases, architecture).

• Comfortable working with distributed systems and async workflows.

• Solid understanding of performance, security, and reliability best practices.

Nice to Have

• Experience with agent frameworks, tool calling, or automation platforms.

• Familiarity with observability tooling (logs, traces, metrics).

• Experience scaling systems in a startup environment.
